Verdict
Although it's a surprise to see Patrick Mullins on board, this looks a walk in the park for KALANISI OG, who won a Galway bumper last October and finished runner-up to Mount Ida on her hurdling debut back there last month when the remainder were a long way behind. The opposition here is negligible and under the race conditions she receives 4lb from stable companion Equilibrium, who will be ridden by Paul Townend and has joined the champion trainer after being well beaten in a point-to-point and a maiden hurdle at Down Royal last December. The remainder with experience have shown nothing so it wouldn't be a surprise to see the stoutly-bred newcomer Joshsbar earn some place money.
