In depth

Verdict

Slainte And Thanks won this in 2018, one of just two victories in 33 starts over jumps, and his recent good run at Punchestown was over 2m4f. Call The Fairies has yet to win and though placed several times may need a bit further. Aoibhe's Beau had some decent form back in 2018 and was having only her fourth start since then when gaining a shock 12 lengths victory at Tipperary for which she's been raised 10lb. Close Enough makes her handicap debut after a good run at Wexford though that was on heavy ground while Karla Martina has been placed in her last four starts, all on ground with plenty of give. SECRET SEA had shown little before attracting support in a Wexford maiden where a couple of mistakes probably cost her the race as she was only beaten a head. An opening handicap mark of 90 gives her a fine chance of going one better.
