Verdict

Balum was staying on over an extended 2m1f at Downpatrick and could find this too sharp unless there's plenty of rain. Thanksathousand couldn't go the pace at Limerick but stayed on when the race was all over while GLEN NA TARA was going on nicely at Cork and, with Tom Hamilton replacing an inexperienced pilot, can land the spoils. Bridal Knot, a recruit from Nicky Henderson, ran well enough here last month to consider while Brianna Lily should improve markedly for her run at Punchestown.
