In depth

Verdict

Adimelo was having only his second start over fences when headed in the closing stages over 2m6f at Thurles in October then finished a very close third on his reappearance over 2m4f at Kilbeggan. He could find this on the sharp side on fast going but Bendanella's best run was on good ground at Ballinrobe a year ago though he hasn't run since September. Winning bumper Imperial Way has been lightly-raced over hurdles and should do better over fences while Venezia belied his big SP with a fair run on his debut over the bigger obstacles at Limerick. CLASSIC THEATRE is facing quick ground and fences for the first time but has a touch of quality about her as she showed when landing a bumper and scoring over hurdles so she gets the vote to make a successful chasing debut.
