A lower-grade version of the previous race with many of the entries probably preferring a few hurdles to negotiate. LADY MARMELO has never raced over jumps but that may change soon as the former UK-trained mare was going on strongly at the finish over 1m5f at Navan last month, her first start for new connections. She has plenty of weight but could turn out better than a 61-rated performer. Deadline Day was with Roger Varian until December and he new handler should be finding a race for him soon while Pennys Tune won three out of four in a short spell last summer though refused to race in the other. Uncharted Waters has yet to win but has been finding middle-distances too short.
