Verdict

An interesting opener with Willie Mullins having three entries. Mark Walsh is on board the J P McManus' newcomer Dinoblue with Paul Townend choosing La Prima Donna, twice runner-up on heavy going at Compiegne just over a year ago, over Mi Lighthouse, who appeared to find 2m5f at Tramore just stretching her stamina. Feddans beat Mi Lighthouse over three lengths in a Punchestown bumper a year ago and makes her hurdling debut as does Happy D'ex, a winner between the flags, who scrambled home in a Fairyhouse bumper in November but will be better suited by this much stiffer test. HAPPYWIFEHAPPYLIFE showed ability in a light campaign on the Flat and made a very satisfactory hurdling debut at Limerick last week where she only faded in the closing stages so gets the vote.
