Leighinmohr began his career by completing a hat-trick in a point-to-point, a bumper and a maiden hurdle and though showing little over fences this represents a drop in class. Robert Tyner has plenty of winners on the track and has two entered here with Dfordarsi probably the best of them though he'll need his jumping to improve after making several errors at Tramore. Dawerann had three attempts over fences around this time last year but didn't show much. He ran a bit better over hurdles last time so it would be no surprise to see him revert to the bigger obstacles with a victory. Paul Nolan had HORSE NO NAME engaged in the maiden hurdles at the beginning of the card but has decided to run him over fences for the first time. It looks the right option as he receives weight from all of his rivals and his overall form over timber gives him the edge. Stonehall Jack looks the main threat after a reasonable chasing debut on this track though better ground would be in his favour.
