Half of this field are having their first starts in a handicap. Dazzling Suzie is better over fences though she can revert to hurdling on a 10lb lower mark and shouldn't be dismissed despite her big weight. After her 66/1 victory in a Thurles maiden in January, KNOCKRAHA PYLON was sent to Fairyhouse for a Grade 3 over a slightly longer trip and ran well for a long way which may be good enough for this. Good As Gold is consistent enough but has been beaten ten times from this mark after landing a Tramore maiden. Curragh Na Gold showed a bit more promise at Fairyhouse and will handle the conditions better than most while Famous Ballerina looked a decent handicapper when last seen in 2013. Ellaway Rose has had 26 career starts without winning though she's better handicapped than over fences so has to be considered in an open contest.
