Captain Sully has been knocking on the door but lacks an extra gear and there seems no obvious reason why he should reverse last month's Tramore running with BLUEBELL ROCK, who was arguably given too much to do when only sixth in a claimer on the flat at the same track subsequently. Paul Roche's charge has at least won under rules and, though consistency is probably not his greatest attribute, he may find enough to win here with Paul Carberry doing the steering. Redzer Gazgoff appeared to produce an improved effort at Galway in July but then ran a shocker on the level at Wexford while there's no guarantee Flight Control will reproduce his Kilbeggan effort on this quicker ground.
