    Verdict

A competitive little heat to sort through with several of the runners taking a drop in class. Celestia, who was found out at Listed level last time, will appreciate the drop in grade, although she could have been better drawn, while Bishop's Lake, who was taken off her feet over the minmum trip in a decent event at Yarmouth, will be better suited by this six-furlongs. Gallivant has more to do than when successful at Beverley, although she is open to improvement. Sharplaw Venture won a modrate contest on her debut and is open to any amount of improvement, but the vote goes to Silca Boo, who ran well for a long way, in desperate conditions in the Listed Sweet Solera Stakes at Newmarket.
