Barristan The Bold won a novices' contest here in September and took his chance at Royal Ascot last week though never showed. He acts on any ground and is well enough drawn to make his mark. Blown By Wind has some quality about him though will do well to win this from the wide outside and Lincoln Park looks have more of a chance having made all to land a similar contest over slightly further here before disappointing at Goodwood. Mawakib couldn't quite get to grips with Moyassar over 6f at Newmarket before dropping into Class 4 company to score at Kempton. He's 7lb higher so has more to do and GABRIAL THE WIRE is handed the vote. He had the pace to win over the minimum here last summer and has been going well over this trip, staying on strongly behind the smart Awe at Newmarket last time. Pacino was due to run here yesterday.
