Manchurian can win again at the expense of Barons Spy and No Grouse. The selection was a good winner at Goodwood last time out and has risen four pounds in the weights. Prior to that he was knocking on the door at Haydock when finishing third and if repeating his recent form he should be difficult to beat. Barons Spy won on his seasonal reappearance at Bath and then ran with credit when fourth of twelve at Sandown last time out. On both occasions he was running at big prices and although he will not be the same value this time he is definitely one for the short list. No Grouse is another to note after winning at Hamilton recently for which he carries a six pound penalty but his draw at this tight track will make life tough for him. So for the winner we return to Manchurian.
