There's plenty of headgear on display and a number of the field have a bit to prove. It's not quite the last chance saloon for JUSTONEFORTHEROAD but he is running out of chances; he may be able to take this one and is preferred to Rising Kheleyf and Rio Cobolo. The selection has been eased in grade and dropped in the weights and may be able to make the most of the opportunity on just his sixth career start. This looks less competitive than the races he has contested the last twice and he has shown enough to think that he's capable of winning at this level. A sharp track and firm ground are ideal for Rising Kheleyf and Alan Swinbank's charge should go well but he didn't find a great deal for pressure at Musselburgh. Rio Cobolo has been in good form this month but the handicapper appears to be winning the argument and there are sufficient doubts as to whether this longer trip will bring about any improvement. Bounty Reef and Singapore Girl need to improve for the fitting of visors if they're to trouble the judge whilst the same headgear failed to persuade Royal Premium to put his head in front where it mattered last time. The selection has yet to do that either but a change of fortune could be around the corner for Justonefortheroad.
