It was testing going when HEART OF SOUL won easily over track and trip recently. But Ian Williams’ charge was narrowly beaten on fast ground here last summer and a 6lb rise may not be enough to anchor him in this. Apterix bids for a hat-trick after scoring at Thirsk but Sioux Frontier and Charlie D are both upped in class after winning their respective latest starts. Dance King was placed over a shorter trip here last time and is preferred to Goodwood runner-up Berrahri and Never Do Nothing.
