It was soft ground when Sha La La La Lee won over course and distance last time with Gabrial The Saint and BARAWEEZ (NAP) filling the places and Aces back in fourth. Brian Ellison’s charge will appreciate today’s faster ground and is fancied to come out best on this occasion given he won last year’s renewal off a 2lb higher mark. Crossing The Line has been in good form on the all-weather recently but has also won four of only six starts on Turf and can figure along with Kaeso, a runner-up in the Victoria Cup at Ascot a fortnight ago. Di Fede ended last year with a Listed success at Ascot but is 7lb higher back handicapping on her reappearance.
