In depth

Verdict

Brazilian Beach is 5lb higher for dead-heating at Haydock and appears to enjoy a bit of cut in the ground. BOX TO BOX won a fast-ground handicap at Salisbury and ran well for a long way in a Class 2 race at Epsom so looks the one to beat. Luminous Light also ran in a much better class handicap at Newbury last time but finished a long way last and is on the same mark while La Pulga also takes a drop in grade after moderate efforts at Sandown and Newbury. Southwell maiden winner Griffin Park and the maiden Killearn have a bit to find on recent form.
