In depth

Verdict

The Steward may have needed his run in a seller here at the start of the month but still disappointed but Grageelagh Girl won a hunter chase on the same card only to lose the race in the stewards’ room. DAN GUN rallied to score over track and trip last month and has only gone up 3lb. He’ll get every assistance from the saddle today and looks the one to beat ahead of On We Go, up 9lb after winning easily here the same day. Shaws Bridge could also play a part after a better run last time at Hexham.
