Sound Advice won last year’s renewal with Above The Rest third and Marcret and Gabrial's Kaka further behind. He beat the latter once again here in May and is not easily dismissed. Above The Rest should also be thereabouts once again having gone close at York last time while the progressive Ice Slice was well ahead of Marcret when winning a lower grade contest over track and trip last month. RIGHT TOUCH was successful here in July when scoring over 6f. Richard Fahey’s charge stays this longer trip and can make another bold bid despite a 4lb rise. Breakable goes well here but a 5lb rise for winning at Ripon a week ago may prove beyond him. Winklemann is one to keep an eye on as he won in Italy before having a couple of starts at Meydan for Mike De Kock and now debuts for Marco Botti.
