Verdict

Gabrial The Tiger arrives on the back of a victory at Beverley but Powerallied has the most favourable draw of Richard Fahey’s four runners. Dragons Tail is preferred to stablemate Calder Prince as he slides further down the weights while Quick Look is back on a winning mark and posted a better effort at Ripon last time. Turanga Leela would prefer a faster surface and the veteran sprinter Maarek is not the force of old but BOSSIPOP should go well. Tim Easterby’s charge made a winning return to action at Ripon, is perfectly at home in soft ground and won a Class 2 sprint here last year.
