Handsome Cross was good value for his win in a valuable sprint at Musselburgh on Saturday but his been done few favours with the draw, which may pose more of a problem than his penalty, and preference is for Coconut Moon, who gets the vote ahead of Harry Up. Like Handsome Cross, Coconut Moon has a penalty to carry for her recent success on the all-weather but she returns to turf on a fair mark and on a surface that she has gone well on in the past so is taken to follow up from stall three. Lady Bahia has her first outing on turf since October 2003 and is probably best watched, while stablemate Stoneacre Lad may prefer a softer surface. Mytton's Pride has dropped to a fair mark but has given little cause for optimism of late and a bigger threat may come from Harry Up from the in-form Kevin Ryan stable, who is entitled to come on for his reappearance. Coconut Moon was good value for her Wolverhampton win though and she gets the vote.
