Apostle won here last month and has beaten Chosen Character on the last couple of occasions they have met. But both of them finished behind third-placed BEAU NASH over a mile here last time. Richard Hannon's charge was beaten less than a length and is just preferred to Top Of The Glas. The latter won nicely over a longer trip here recently but could have been better drawn in this and so could previous course and distance winner Verse Of Love. Gatepost has slipped down the weights and makes more appeal than Athletic off their current marks.
