Another tricky handicap and Kings College Boy is given the vote ahead of Coconut Moon and Jakeini. Richard Fahey's seven-year-old turns out quickly having run well at Musselburgh on Saturday and the hint should be taken. He has also never been out of the first three on his five visits here and is running off a decent mark. There is a form line with today's rival Coconut Moon. In August last year Coconut Moon had the selection a length and three-quarters back in third when successful here on similar ground. However a nine pound turnaround in the weights should see the form reversed. Ed McMahon has hit a rich vein of form and his runner Jakeini looks set for a good run. He was very unlucky at Haydock last time and if everything drops right today he should thereabouts at the finish. Foxy Music is well drawn and could be the pick of the others, but course and distance form and box one, sway us towards Kings College Boy.
