Back over seven furlongs Stonecrabstomorrow looks the answer to a tricky handicap, Giganticus and Shot To Fame could be the main rivals. Richard Fahey's charge has been slowly away on his last two outings over the six furlong trip and never got into contention. He ran some terrific races last season including a close up second behind today's rival Malcheek of a mark of 81. He is no less than twelve pounds better off with that rival and if he starts on terms today he should go close from a decent enough draw. Giganticus won over this trip at Newcastle on his seasonal debut and wasn't disgraced here last time over a furlong further. He obviously handles the track well for a massive horse and he will be hard to keep out of the frame. Shot To Fame has gone close on numerous occasions this season but as a result the handicap mark is not going down and so a place is probably the best he can hope for again this afternoon. Phluke is another in the hadicappers grip but he is another with each-way chances, however Stonecrabstomorrow is down to a favourable mark and he gets the verdict.
