Aleezdancer was only fifth when Outgate won here early last month but he did better up against older horses at York next time. Point Lynas beat Outgate and Bullet Force in a nursery at Newmarket in the autumn but hasn’t raced since and has also changed stables. Cowboy Justice is much respected after his close-up second at Naas while Thunder Legend is well drawn for a front-runner and will appreciate the drop back in trip. He beat subsequent winner Gorak on his final start last year. Andrew Balding runs two but WODETON might be more interesting than Far Away Thoughts. John Egan’s mount has been taking a keen hold over a mile at Goodwood so dropping back a furlong should suit and he remains on a fair mark.
