Verdict
Hadrianus was engaged in the 3.15 here yesterday and Stormbuster was a long way behind that one at Epsom last month. ALDER did nothing but improve last year and only had to be pushed out to score at Cork on his reappearance. His tendency to hang right-handed that day wouldn’t help him around here but he is still preferred to Local Dynasty, who is 3-4 but is conceding 3lb. San Antonio bids to give Aidan O’Brien a 10th victory in this and a fifth in the last six years but he’s only won a Dundalk maiden so far and the second has been beaten since. Passenger was easy to back in the Wood Ditton but defied market expectations with a comfortable victory. He could be anything but this is a much tougher assignment.
