In depth

Verdict

Kazawi has been very lightly-raced but has spurned easier opportunities in the past. Mark Johnston’s pair, STAR OF THE EAST and Rainbow Rebel, both have decent claims in this. The former gets the nod as, though he probably needs further especially around here, habitual front-runner Corton Lad should ensure a strong gallop. Jabbaar made good late headway at Thirsk last month and is another who would benefit from a good pace while Vincent's Forever will strip fitter for a run at Kempton. Fort Jefferson has been hurdling while Gabrial's King, who carries the Koukash colours, is a course winner who made a winning reappearance last year.
