As in the opening contest, Tom Dascombe is doubly represented and it will be interesting to see the tactics adopted as both Fools Rush In and Cuban Breeze both enjoy making the running. There's little between them at the weights and hopefully Dane O'Neill can sit in behind the pacemakers and deliver ELOQUENT ARTHUR with a decisive late challenge. He disappointed last time but that was an uncharacteristic blemish on an otherwise solid record and he's worth another chance. Sir Benedict is probably where the assessor wants him for now but Fighter Pilot ran satisfactorily in a hot York handicap in mid-June over this trip and is not to be ignored.
Fools Rush In (IRE) 3-1fav (9-7) Soon led, pushed 2f out, ridden and headed before final furlong, weakened late on, 5th of 10, 4l behind Stone Soldier (10-0) at Haydock 7f hcp (4) gd in Jul.

Sir Benedict (IRE) 9-1 (8-4) Mid-division on outer early and raced freely, headway into 2nd after 2f, pushed along over 2f out, lost place entering straight and soon beaten, last of 9, 12 1/4l behind Master Zoffany (8-9) at Chester 7f hcp (2) gd in Jun.
Eloquent Arthur 7-4fav (9-3) Midfield, driven and no impression over 2f out, one pace final furlong, 7th of 13, 7 1/4l behind Typical Man (8-4) at Doncaster 7f hcp (4) sft in May.
