        Verdict

        St Mary's won an apprentices’ handicap over course and distance last month when Modernism was third. Subsequent Wolverhampton winner Gabrial's Star was well behind and Monaco Rose, the third of the Marwen Koukash-owned runners, was beaten off a 5lb lower mark at Goodwood last time. Marsh Pride has yet to prove she stays this far but SEAN O’CASEY (NAP) won over 1m3f at Yarmouth before finding the step up to a Class 3 at York beyond him. This might be his level and the former Ballydoyle inmate is worth another chance.
