In depth

Verdict

Valery Borzov looked to be on the way back when third at Carlisle last month but like Invincible Force, who goes well here and was runner-up at Haydock last time, has been done no favours by the draw. Barons Spy and Grissom have been in good form lately, while the three-year-old Long Awaited is open to further improvement and Seek The Fair Land is knocking on the door again. Victorian Bounty was only beaten a head at Windsor last month but we're going to take a chance on RASH JUDGEMENT. Eric Alston's six-year-old is very well handicapped at present and has been running a bit better than recent form figures suggest. This looks just the type of race in which he could return to winning ways.
