        Verdict

        Alexander M ran poorly here under Franny Norton last week and the latter rides stablemate X RATED today. Mark Johnston’s charge won at Bath earlier and was narrowly beaten off today’s mark at Windsor last time. Golden Wolf makes his handicap and Turf debut having gone close at Wolverhampton last month while Energia Fox scored on fast going over track and trip back in May. Al Zaman is 4lb lower than when beaten over a longer trip here in the same month and Outback Blue is running into form and went close at Haydock last time.
