A tricky affair but we will chance Shaydream Believer against Benbrook, Conservation and Markington. The selection does have to reverse form with Markington on their most recent meeting but he has shaped up well around here previously from an unfavoured draw and it is worth chancing that Paul Hanagan can get in a position to dictate terms on Sunday afternoon. Benbrook made all to beat Lester Leaps In at Leicester in June. Eddie Ahern has a good record when riding for John Dunlop and any market moves are noted. Markington has took a long time to get off the mark but he needed plenty of cajoling and it could be worth opposing. Evening ran eyecatchingly at Lingfield last Saturday evening but that was a dire affair and more is needed. Maidford has been well placed by connections in the past and has only picked up minor penalties for her past victories. Conservation has got to go some way to justifying a very large purchase tag and punters are beginning to lose patience after a string of flops when favourite. Shaydream Believer could have conditions to suit and should be a sporting price.
