A terrific bunch of fillies line up for this listed event and we have narrowed it down to three, Deraasaat, Ithaca, and Proud Tradition, with the last named getting our vote. This daughter of Seeking The Gold is held in high regard by connections and was most impressive when landing her maiden at Newmarket last September. She has been showing up well on the gallops and can take this before having a crack at the big one at Epsom. Ithaca wasn't seen at her best over too short a trip last time when finishing third behind the impressive Iqte Saab, today's longer trip should be ideal and we expect a much better performance. Deraasaat, a close-up seventh of 11 on her Beverley debut, showed the benefit of the experience she had gained there as by scoring decisively at Nottingham, there will be plenty more to come from Ed Dunlop's filly. The Barry Hills trained pair Crystal Curling and Si Si Amiga also warrant a mention, but there was a lot to like about Proud Tradition¿s victory at headquarters and she has to be the selection.
