In depth

Verdict

GAASSEE is fitted with a tongue-tie after finishing third at Lingfield on last month’s debut. His ability to handle the ground has to be taken on trust but an apprentice’s 5lb allowance could give the Haggas colt the edge over Mind Hunter. The latter drops down in trip after placing on the all-weather and cheekpieces are applied. The remainder with experience have shown little so far but Serena's Symphony includes a Group 1 winner among a host of winning relatives and is a newcomer to note.
