      Verdict

      Favourites have a good record so strong support for any of these should be noted. Powderhorn attempted to make all at Doncaster stepped up to today's trip but faded in the closing stages while Both Sides will need to be quicker away than he was on his debut at Sandown if he is to figure. ARCANADA was doing his best work at the finish when third over 6f at Haydock and, with this extra furlong likely to suit, he gets the nod with Richard Kingscote preferring him to Spirit Of The Vale.
