CAPE CAY and Paloma Dancer boast the most eye-catching form figures and are preferred in that order especially as Ralph Beckett has an impressive 30% strike rate here over the past five years. She's arguably been a little disappointing on a couple of placed starts but didn't shape too badly last time on her handicap debut when a fair fifth at Kempton. Her best performance to date arrived in her only start over this trip so it's a positive to see her revert to 7f. She also receives plenty of weight from the colts with her apprentice rider's allowance taken into account. Paloma Dancer needs to improve on her reappearance run but Cape Lion cannot be ruled out. He ran no sort of race here last time after a promising debut and is likely to be much more at home on the forecast quicker ground. Doctor Bong is the newcomer of note and needs a market check.
