Verdict
LEWISHAM, who was rated 107 after finishing runner-up in the Group 2 July Stakes, has fallen from grace in a major way and was recording his first victory on Turf at the 18th attempt at Nottingham a couple of weeks ago. He won so easily that he's been raised a massive 10lb but now he's struck form can defy the extra. Elusivity will be having his twelfth start of the year having been very busy and successful on the all-weather. He reverted to Turf with a fine run in a better-class event at Windsor and should get into the frame. Edged Out has won twice here though all of his four career victories have been on fast ground so any rain would hinder his chances. Swendab won here in August, his ninth victory on Turf, but he's been beaten off much lower marks on the all-weather in his last three starts.
