Raise You Five comes into this race in good heart having won his last two starts under testing conditions in handicaps at Fontwell and Towcester and he has to be respected on his bid for a hat-trick but a 13lb rise for the latest of those successes makes this more difficult and he may be worth taking on with KING OF CASTILE, who gets the vote with Callerlilly rated the best of the rest. The selection has shown improved form for Evan Williams since he has been racing on more testing ground in handicaps in his last couple of starts and he looks worth siding with off his current mark at likely odds. More The Merrier was pulled up at Taunton earlier this month but had run well at the same venue previously so he cannot be discounted if able to reproduce that earlier form, while Jim Old's The Hudnalls now seems too high in the weights having been raised following a promising run at Hereford last month. Nigel Hawke's Callerlilly has shown improved form of late and has every chance but the handicapper has taken note having raised him 5lbs for his good second at Uttoxeter last month and a better bet looks to be King of Castile.
