    Verdict

Lord Brock, Gallik Dawn and Major Benefit are three against the field in this competitive handicap chase and the vote is given to Lord Brock. The selection won well last time out when beating Toon Trooper ands although he has a penalty for that win he looks a progressive type and off what remains a fair mark under his optimum conditions he is taken to win again. Gallik Dawn rates the main danger on his latest second behind Merry Path. This shorter trip should suit and he will not be far away. However that form has since been let down. Major Benefit was a fair second behind Another Native last time and is another with place claims but consistency is not his strong point.Coursing Run has the ability to go close but has been let down by his jumping of late. Of the remainder Karelo was a good hurdler and under conditions that suit he could go well at a price but for the winner we return to Lord Brock.
