Andrew Balding has enjoyed a healthy strike rate with his runners at Chepstow this season and previous C&D winner ROCKY REEF looks to be his best chance of the evening. The handicapper predictably punished him for a wide margin success in May but he has not disgraced himself in better company and Daniel Muscutt can claim a valuable 7lb. Warwick winner, New Decade, is likely to be popular with the locals and he should not be too far away. Mr Fickle has been fancied on each of his last three handicap starts - justifying strong confidence at Yarmouth before missing out at Lingfield and Brighton. Sunley Pride was able to give weight and a beating to Lady Loch on a faster surface at Redcar in April and, if Mick Channon's gelding turns up in the same mood, he has to have very realistic claims.
