In depth

Verdict

Division two of the novice hurdle and probably more open than the first with In Accord, Icy Blast, Zimbabwe and Blushing Bull all with chances with the vote going to the last named. Blushing Bull has already won round the track in a bumper during May and has shown a decent level of form in all his races to date. The horses will have been well schooled for his first attempted over hurdles and if taking to them will take all the beating. Icy Blast ran well on his seasonal reappearance when second to Salute in a novice event at Lingfield. He will be sharper for the experience today. In Accord may come on for the run as does many of Henry Daly's but having said that the horse did run well on his race course debut last season so worth noting in the market. And another worth noting is Zimbabwe who although beaten a fair way first time over hurdles can only improve. But for the winner we return to Blushing Bull.
