DUKE STREET (NAP) has a 12lb penalty to deal with but has looked so impressive in landing his last two starts, both by 8l on synthetic surfaces, that's he's impossible to oppose back on grass. He's clearly a different performer after being stepped up in trip as is the case with so many from his yard and there's no telling just how much improvement he has to deliver. He is not the first and won't be the last from the Johnston yard to plot this particular path to improvement. Last time winner, Noor Al Haya, has no stamina concerns but surely lacks the scope of the selection and may also struggle to confirm placings with Halling's Wish on recent running. Ring Eye scored last time but has never been further than 1m4f and Santayana, consistent and reliable, also tries this trip for the first time.
