Verdict

CLOSER TO HOME was given a confident ride by Michael Heard to score at Exeter on Tuesday. He's picked up a penalty for that but a quick double could be on the cards as he clearly stay well for a four-year-old. Fuse Wire may need his first run since June but Florrie Boy should be thereabouts having finished third on his handicap debut at Southwell in November and Doncaster fourth Pied Du Roi has his favoured ground today. Bold Runner may be the pick of the remainder, though the front-running Red Red Rover is interesting having his first run in a handicap.
