In depth

Verdict

GRAN LUNA disappointed in soft going last time having won at Newbury earlier. She’s back on faster ground over a longer trip today and has the edge over Miss Tara Moss on these terms. The latter is also penalised for winning at Sedgefield last month while Midnight Ginger went close in a handicap at Plumpton earlier and returns to novice company. Groovy Kind failed to improve for the application of a tongue-tie last time and returns from a lay-off.
