Verdict

Several make their chasing debuts including Snuff Box, a winner over hurdles at Wincanton in April. Glen Forsa has been thereabouts over timber recently and Minellatillmorning landed a double over hurdles early this year. Victarion is preferred to stablemate Barbrook Star with Richard Johnson on board as both go chasing for the first time while Mr Mcguiness was still going well when unseating on his chasing bow and Battle Of Ideas should improve for last month’s outing over the fences at Kempton. But GARRANE found only one too good here on his first start over the larger obstacles and it’s Jeremy Scott’s charge that gets the vote with that experience to draw on.
