Verdict

LERMOOS LEGEND (NAP) started his winning run on a mark of 82 and is now 28lb higher after completing a four-timer in comfortable fashion at Cartmel. Abaya Du Mathan was eased right down when scoring at Ffos Las but is 10lb higher in this better-class handicap. Joly Maker is a consistent performer though generally at a lower level, a remark that also applies to Oxwich Bay, who was narrowly beaten in a Class 5 handicap over the course and distance last time. Larkbarrow Lad has never won over fences but Do It For Thy Sen was in double-winning form last spring and has been finding winter ground against him.
