Another tough race to call here for punters with very little between many of the leading lights but the principals look to be Foolish Groom, Goodwood Spirit and Ellen's Girl and the vote is given to Foolish Groom. The selection won with a little in hand last time out when beating Libre. Granted he has a penalty for that win but he again has conditions to suit and he is taken to defy the handicapper. Goodwood Spirit rates the main danger on his latest third behind Wrighty Almighty but he has had plenty of chances off similar marks without taking one and again he is opposed. Ellen's Girl is another worthy of respect on her latest second behind Perfect Treasure but consistency is not her strong point. Of the remainder Croft sprung a surprise last time out but can not be put forward with any confidence and for the winner we return to Foolish Groom.
