Bellanora is our choice in this maiden handicap with Mostanad and Mannello rated as the dangers. The selection is given another chance after a slightly disappointing effort here last time. She was very well supported in the market before that race and she was forced to race wide throughout. She is open to plenty of improvement and looks the percentage call. Mostanad had no luck whatsoever last time at Hamilton but still managed to finish second behind Beverley Beau. He goes on this fast ground and will give our selection plenty to think about. Mannello is unexposed but all her form so far has been with cut in the ground and for that reason she can't be backed with any confidence. Cape Of Storms has shown some fair form and is another with place prospects, but for the winner we will return to Bellanora.
