Awesome Allan was third at Windsor last time but behind SECRET POTION (NAP) at Bath 10 days earlier. Ron Harris’ sprinter won at the west country track last year and was also a close-up third over this course and distance in August – he’s a pound lower now. Kinglami and Oeil De Tigre were behind Awesome Allan at Windsor but this is the former's track and Indian Affair won this last year, though is 5lb higher. Mad Endeavour, Harry Beau, Peachey Carnehan and Air Of York are others to consider in a wide-open handicap.
