Verdict

An interesting bumper to end proceedings. Four-year-olds have won the last three and it would be no surprise if the newcomers MCFABULOUS, Kalooki and Northofthewall proved best of that age group today. The former is a half-brother to the top-class chaser Waiting Patiently and cost €88,000. Of the older entries, Fontley House is definitely worth considering as he finished a close third for previous connections at Punchestown in April. Comeonthebull was second at Stratford last week but May’s Towcester second Ask Dillon looks a better long-term prospect. One Touch, Precious Bounty and Beaufort West all have point-to-point experience.
