Verdict

QUEL DESTIN and Fanfan Du Seuil make their UK debuts under penalties having won at Auteuil and Fontainebleu respectively. The former’s yard has won this six times in the last 11 years so he gets the vote, though any market interest in Flat recruits Elysees and Pilgrim Soul should be noted. Alan King’s charge won over 1m6f at Sandown in the summer so stamina is unlikely to be a problem. Kerry Lee’s filly has placed over 1m4f but has yet to win a race.
